October '14

We made it through another month of home-school! "Yay-hoo!" (as Jocelyn would say.)

Here is Gideon working hard on his volcano creation.

The best part - watching it explode!

The kids are painting styrofoam balls for the solar system.

We don't kill spiders in our house! Instead, we take care of them and research what kind they are.:)

This is a leaf bug my mom found for Gideon.

Here are the kids and Grams at the Renaissance Faire!

We took a field trip to Green Lane park where we learned about mammals and hiked through the woods.

This was a beautiful day spent at Lake Nockamixon. A much needed break from the home-school routine.

Sweet-pea taking a nap in "Gigi's" bed.

I think we will be missing working outdoors now that the cooler weather has rolled in.:(

Trick or Treat!!!

First Day!!! Theme: Peter Rabbit

Godzilla joined the fun.

On this day, Gideon wanted to learn about earthquakes so we did a hands-on experiment.

Helping me make blueberry waffles for breakfast
 They approve!

Sometimes you just need some fresh air!

Gideon created a food source for some wasps.

Great thing about homeschool....you can have math class outside!

These are a few of my favorite things...

Springtime! Outside...with this guy.

My little family. Love them.

The feel, smell, warmth of this.

Spending EVERY day with these two.

His love and tenderness.

Rare Moments... like this.

 This silly, cutie face.

         These creative minds.

The quietness of early morning, coffee and God.
